The Aagaardbreen ( Norwegian ) is a glacier in the west of the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island . It flows between the Keisarryggen and the Mosbytoppane in a westerly direction to the Esmarch coast , where it flows into the South Atlantic at Selstranda .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1980. It is named after the Norwegian Antarctic historian Bjarne Aagaard (1873–1956).
