Aaro Kiviperä
Aaro Kullervo Kiviperä (born February 6, 1912 in Seinäjoki as Aaro Dahlberg , † July 11, 1944 in Vuosalmi ) was a Finnish modern pentathlete and basketball official .
Kiviperä took part in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , where he finished 20th. In 1944 he became chairman of the national basketball association Suomen Koripalloliitto . He served as a major during World War II . He died on July 11, 1944 in the Battle of Vuosalmi .
