Aaron Rose
Aaron Rose (* 1969 in Portland ) is an American artist, writer, director and curator . He lives and works in Los Angeles .
He is the founder of Alleged Press , which publishes publications on contemporary artists such as Ari Marcopoulos, Ed Templeton , Mike Mills , Barry McGee and Chris Johanson. He is also co-editor of the arts and culture magazine ANP Quarterly, which is distributed free of charge by the California clothing company RVCA, and for Make Something !! , a teaching project to promote creative skills supported by established and young artists.
Together with Christian Strike , he curated the Beautiful Losers touring art exhibit in 2004 with a focus on skateboarding, graffiti, street fashion and independent music .
