Aaron Volpatti (* the 30th May 1985 in Revelstoke , British Columbia ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player , who most recently with the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League was under contract and in parallel for their farm team, the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League for Use came.

Career

Aaron Volpatti began his career as a hockey player with the Vernon Vipers, for which he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the Canadian junior league British Columbia Hockey League . He then attended Brown University for four years , for whose ice hockey team he also played in ECAC hockey . On March 22, 2010, the winger received a free agent contract with the Vancouver Canucks , for whose farm team Manitoba Moose from the American Hockey League (AHL) he made his professional ice hockey debut towards the end of the 2009/10 season when he was in scored a total of 13 games, two goals and one assist. In the following 2013/14 season he was a regular member of the Capitals squad and played almost half of the regular season's games.
