The Aartal-Radweg is a 25-kilometer cycle path in the Lahn-Dill district , which runs almost entirely on the edge of the Aar (Dill) river and along the Aartal reservoir . It is also referred to as the Aartalseeradweg in the Hessen cycle route planner .

It leads from Herborn -burg at the Dill (following the Dilltalradweg ) about Seelbach (Herborn) , Bischoffen , Hohenahr to Hohen Solms and was re-signposted of 2008. Together with the Dilltal cycle path, this now closes a gap in the region’s cycle path network and enables a continuous route past the Aartal and Perfstausee lakes . The Lahn-Dill district is the sponsor and financier of the cycle path, the new signage of which, together with that of the Dilltal cycle path, cost around 30,000 euros.
