The Abbotsgrange Middle School , founded as Grangemouth High School , is a former school building in the Scottish city of Grangemouth in the Council Area Falkirk . In 1989 the structure was included in the Scottish List of Monuments in Category B.

The building is located in the city center on Carronflats Road . The two-story building, designed with classical details, was erected in 1908. The masonry consists of red sandstone , which was cut into blocks. The south-facing front is symmetrically divided into five segments, each with three window axes. The outer and middle blocks protrude slightly. Triangular gables crown the two outer segments, each with two pairs of Ionic columns on the upper floor . On the east and west sides, the windows are arranged on seven vertical axes in a 3–1–3 scheme. On the ground floor, in the middle of each side, there is an entrance door for the gender-segregated school. Broken segment gables crown the portals.
