Abdias Schneider
Abdias Schneider (* before 1673 ; † 1733 ) was a German organist and church music director who worked in Ansbach .
Life
Schneider's exact date of birth is not known. His name was first mentioned in 1673 in connection with the baptism of his son, the later composer Conrad Michael Schneider . In 1706 he was appointed as an appraiser for the organ building of the Johanneskirche in Crailsheim . At that time he was Ansbach city and monastery organist.
