Conrad Michael Schneider
Conrad Michael Schneider (born August 26, 1673 in Ansbach ; † November 23, 1752 in Ulm ) was a German composer , organist and church music director .
Life
Schneider was the son of the Ansbach organist Abdias Schneider . In 1695 he was recorded as a student at the University of Leipzig. In August 1699 he took over a position as organist in Ulm Minster , where he assisted the main organist Sebastian Anton Scherer . After Scherer's death in 1712, Schneider took over his position.
His son was the violinist and flautist Georg Ludwig Sartori .

In Augsburg, Schneider published five piano exercises with Tobias Conrad Lotter , the first of which were engraved in copper by Jacob Andreas Fridrich . They consist of overtures , gavottes , arias , chaconnas , minuets , trios , concerts and gigs . A now lost passion music by Schneider was performed in Ulm in June 1725.
