Publishing program

Johann Georg Christian Störl's new Davidic harp and psaltery playing, or a completely new set of Württembergisch, based on the most precise and purest art of singing and percussion, percussion, song and sheet music . Printed by Johann Benedict Metzler, 1744

JB Metzler's program reflects the development of the Württemberg and, moreover, German intellectual life from the last third of the 17th century to the present day. Since the end of the Second World War, the program fields literary studies, history, philosophy, cultural studies, antiquity, music and media have developed. The publisher's product types include compendia, encyclopedias, Metzler literary stories, manuals and editions of works.

Since 2012, all 16 volumes of the “ Encyclopedia of Modern Times ” have been available. The Metzler Collection series was published from 1961 to 2007 .
