Abdul Munim Riyadh

Abdul Munim Riad (born October 22, 1919 in Tanta ; † March 9, 1969 ; Arabic عبد المنعم رياض, DMG ʿAbd al-Munʿim Riyāḍ ) was a general and chief of staff (CdS) of the Egyptian army .

Abdul Munim Riyadh commanded the Jordanian armed forces in the Six Day War . He and several of his soldiers were killed in an Israeli mortar attack on March 9, 1969 .
