The Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium , also known as Lekhwiya SC Stadium , is a football stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha . It was built from 2011 and completed in February 2013. The opening took place on February 15, 2013 with the game in the Qatar Stars League between Lekhwiya and al-Khor SC , which ended 1: 1. It offers 9,000 seats.
Construction phase
The facility was mainly built by the Qatari construction company Khayyat. The grand opening of the stadium took place on February 15, 2013.

The Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium is located on Al Nuaim Street in northern Doha, near the handball hall and the University of Doha.
use
The stadium is used by two clubs from Doha, Lekhwiya SC , the current champions, and al-Jaish SC . Both clubs have played in the Qatari first division for six years.

The stadium consists of four stands, all of which are covered. The corners of the stadium are not closed by stands, there are the floodlight masts . There is also a video screen in two of the four corners .
