The evening show is a satirical television program moderated by Ingmar Stadelmann on Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb), which is broadcast live from Berlin every week .

The show started together with the rbb campaign “Just don't be bored”. In terms of market shares, the rbb took last place among the third ARD programs in 2017. Especially with young viewers, the odds are usually below average. The evening show is part of the program reform and the attempt to win back these viewers.

According to rbb director Patricia Schlesinger , the show is a “completely new mix of entertainment, information and satire”.

On October 7, 2019, the rbb announced that the comedian Ingmar Stadelmann would take over the moderation of the show from October 24, 2019, replacing the previous moderation duo Britta Steffenhagen and Marco Seiffert . While Steffenhagen continues to work in front of and behind the scenes for the show, Seiffert withdraws completely "at his own request". On October 1st, Robert Wilde took over the editorial management of the show. With the new personal details, the program should "be perceived more as a comedy and satire format from Berlin, as the press release says."
