Adventures from Wide World was a short-lived series of novels in the GDR .

General

In the years 1955/1956, 18 booklets were published with stories mainly by popular adventure writers such as Gerstäcker , Sealsfield , Verne and a few young authors. The booklets were published by Neues Leben in Berlin and were offered at a price of 50  pfennigs each. They had a length of approx. 60 to 80 pages, with a small paper format (approx. DIN A6 ). In addition, the quality of the printing paper used was not very high.
