Treatises from the field of foreign studies

The treatises from the field of foreign studies are a scientific series published by the University of Hamburg , which appears in three sub-series. The series form a continuation of the treatises of the Hamburg Colonial Institute . The first number of treatises in the field of foreign studies were the studies on the history of Confucian dogma and the Chinese state religion: the problem of Ch'un-Ts'iu and Tung Chung'schu 's Ch'un-ts'iu fan lu des Sinologist Otto Franke (1863–1946); Hamburg: Friederichsen, 1920 (treatises from the field of foreign studies; 1: Series B, ethnology, cultural history and language; 1). The ethnographic classic Die Marind-anim von Holländisch-Süd-Neu-Guinea by Paul Wirz (1892–1955) also appeared in this series.
