AblaZ
AblaZ (born August 9, 1988 in Werdohl ) is a German rock and metal musician.
He is currently active in the bands Nachtblut and Sündenklang .
Musical career
AblaZ began his musical career in 2002 as the guitarist and frontman of the rock band TacituS . In 2003 they parted ways and AblaZ joined the hardcore band Face the Truth as guitarist . However, he left the band that same year to start his own project Fearload . AblaZ took over the songwriting at Fearload except for the drums and played the bass as well as his main instrument, the guitar, and sang the second vocals.
In 2006 AblaZ also joined the band Sariola as bass player , but in 2012 decided to leave the band due to lack of time.
In 2007 AblaZ devoted himself to several black metal bands as session musicians and toured Europe for several weeks. In the further course of the year AblaZ joined the band Gods Army as a guitarist , with whom he recorded the LP From Ashes to Light .
In the summer of 2010 AblaZ helped out as a bassist for ex- Cradle-of-Filth singer Sarah Jezebel Deva . After the UK and EU tour, AblaZ joined Deva as a permanent bassist. The second studio album The Corruption of Mercy , on which AblaZ was also involved in songwriting for the first time, was released in June 2011 in Europe and in September 2011 in the USA and Canada.
At the end of 2011 AblaZ joined the new German hardship band Stahlmann as a live bass player , and two years later he joined the side project Sündenklang by Stahlmann singer Martin Soer.
Since the summer of 2016 he has also taken over the vacant position of bassist for the dark metal band Nachtblut . After a tour of Germany, the very first performances in China followed with Nachtblut.
In October 2017 the 5th studio album by Nachtblut with the name Apostasy was released. This was Nachtblut's first chart entry with 41st place in the German album charts.
pseudonym
AblaZ is based on the German translation of the English word ablaze and means something like "inflamed", "to be absorbed in something you do".
Fashion
In 2009 a fashion collection from Folks - Dark & Heavy Clothing was brought out with his name.
AblaZ was also a model for various fashion labels, u. a. for “Bloodletting”, “Mode Important” and “Minerva”.
