The Ablation Col is a snow-covered mountain pass in the east of Alexander I Island off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It connects the Ablation Valley with the Jupiter Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on January 18, 2002 based on the naming of the valley of the same name.
