The term concentration disorder , also poor concentration , describes a weakness or impairment of the ability to concentrate z. B. to keep focused on an activity.

The term is used in medicine , education and in the psychotherapeutic and psychiatric field as a description of symptoms .

The extent to which the complaints must be referred to as a concentration disorder (in the pathological sense) is not defined in more detail.

Concentration disorders can have organic , psychosomatic or neurological causes and can be observed in varying degrees.
