Abortus Bang Ring Trial

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Abortus Bang ring test ( ABR test ) is a serological test that is used to detect Brucella in milk . The antibodies (IgM, IgG, IgA) are made visible with a hematoxylin- coupled antigen . It is a herd test of tank milk / jug milk in contrast to z. B. PCR or ELISA , which are individual tests. If the ABR test is positive, a purple ring appears in the cream layer (above, fat globules with adsorbed antibodies) in the test tube . If the test is negative, a white ring forms.
