Abra de Araguyoc is a small village with about 30 inhabitants in the Iruya department of the Salta province in northwestern Argentina . It is located 8 km east of the village of Iruya , 5 km southwest of the village of Las Higueras , 3.5 km northeast of the village of Casa Grande and 3 km south-southwest of the hamlet of Aguas Blancas .
Abra de Araguyoc has a school ( Escuela N ° 4191 ) which is attended by children from the surrounding area.
