Abra del Sauce is a small village in northwestern Argentina . It belongs to the department of Iruya in the province of Salta and is 4 km northeast of the village of Rodeo Colorado .
The village has a chapel and a primary school with overnight accommodation for children from remote locations.
Abra del Sauce is the seat of the Centro Kolla Unidos de Abra del Sauce y Rodeo Colorado , an interest group of the Kolla Indians living in the area .
