Abrain is a hamlet in the town of Bad Tölz in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen . The place is in the open, about five kilometers north of Bad Tölz.

Before the municipal reform , Abrain was part of the Kirchbichl municipality and was incorporated into Bad Tölz after its dissolution in 1978.
