Absolom is a Belgian trance project . Members are DJ, remixer and producer Christophe Chantzis (* Christophe Steve Fotini Chantzis), DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz and singer Pascale Feront.

Career

Christophe Chantzis, also known as DJ Jam and DJ Glenn, is a member of Astroline, Chantzis & Vanspauwen, DJ Jan & Christophe Chantzis, Illusion, Kraxler & Schwartz, Perfect Sphere, Sluts and Time Sliders alongside Absolom. Jimmy Goldschmitz's other projects are Capone, Liquid-D and Moira. The two DJs met in the Belgian club scene in the mid-1990s for their first joint project. Singer Pascale Feront completed Absolom a little later.

The live cast of the dance act consisted of singer Pascale, Christophe as keyboardist and the dancers Cindy and Ellen. The first release was the 1997 single Secret , which was placed in the top 40 of the German single charts a few months after it was released. In December 2001, Stars entered the US dance charts.
