Abu Khan
Alhaji Abu Khan also Abou Kunta Khan was Seyfo (also the English term chief is common) for the Gambian district of Jokadu .
Live and act
Abu Khan was Seyfo for the Gambian Jokadu District in the Lower River Division in the 1960s and 1970s . He is described as a person who wielded a lot of power and authority. He set up arrests for juveniles who committed criminal offenses. There they were made work and shown how to make a living without committing crimes. Khan's method was highly recommended by the Jawara government during his tenure as chief.
