Abu Naim al-Khadim

Abu Naim al-Khadim († in the 9th century) was an Arab master and composer in the Shatranj . He wrote at least one treatise.

Al-Khadim, although an amateur, was at times considered the strongest player in the world. Its most famous mansion is as follows.

The position allegedly occurred in a chess game between Jørgensen and Sørensen in Stockholm in 1945. Jørgensen checkmated like in the mansion. In the literature it is doubted that this game actually took place.
