Abu Sir Difinnu ( Arabic Abu Sir ; Greek Busiris ) is now the name of a modern village in Upper Egypt , which is about 5 kilometers southwest of Madinat al-Fayyum in the immediate vicinity of the village of Itsa. Abu Sir Difinnu is one of the six places that have so far been localized under the Greek name Busiris.

In ancient Egypt , Abu Sir Difinnu was in the 20th  Upper Egyptian Gau . Although the place has been mentioned several times, nothing is known about the ancient Egyptian history of Abu Sir Difinnu.
