From the year it was founded, the Académie Mallarmé also awards the Prix Mallarmé ; the first prize winner was Jacques Audiberti . Currently (2013) the price is 3,800 EURO doped and is a respected prize for poetry. The prize is awarded in Brive-la-Gaillarde regularly at the annual book festival (Foire du Livre de Brive).
