The Acapulco Rock is a rock formation in East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the Oates coast, it looms in the confluence of the Lillie Glacier in Ob 'Bay west of the Buell Peninsula .
Scientists from the German expedition series GANOVEX gave it its name in reference to the La Quebrada cliffs in Acapulco, Mexico, which are popular with cliff divers .
