Aceria lateannulatus (synonym: Eriophyes tiliae rudis ) is a species of mite from the family of gall mites (Eriophyidae).

Aceria lateannulatus leads to numerous, 5 mm high, club-shaped, upwardly narrowed and rounded nail galls on leaves. The bile is green or yellow-brown to red in color. Its opening is on the underside of the leaf and is surrounded by small white hairs.

Similar species

distribution and habitat

Aceria lateannulatus is often found in Europe on winter linden ( Tilia cordata ) and at the cross between winter and summer linden , the Dutch lime ( Tilia × europaea ).
