Achim Votsmeier-Röhr

Achim Votsmeier-Röhr (* 1957 ) is a German psychologist and psychotherapist . He practices psychotherapy and behavior therapy based on depth psychology. a. Gestalt therapist (DVG) and schema therapist ( ISST). He worked for over 30 years in the Psychosomatic Clinic Bad Grönenbach - later at the HELIOS Clinic Bad Grönenbach, acute and rehabilitation clinic for psychosomatic medicine, most recently 13 years as the head psychologist in the department for structure-related rehabilitation of people with borderline and other structural disorders. Since 2015 he has been working in private practice in Ulm.

Votsmeier-Röhr helped develop the Grönenbacher model , a new treatment concept for borderline and other structural disorders that was influenced by gestalt therapy as well as other principles. He publishes scientific articles and has been invited to give lectures in Germany, Austria, Spain and the United States. He is also active in the German Association for Gestalt Therapy, is committed to the dissemination of Leslie Greenberg's process-experience approach and teaches at the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna .
