Slayers Gorgeous ( Japaneseス レ イ ヤ ー ズ ご う じ ゃ すSureiyāzu Gōjasu ) is the fourth anime cinema production for the novel and television series " Slayers ". The film had its world premiere in Japanese cinemas on August 1, 1998. As with the previous films Slayers Perfect , Slayers Return and Slayers Great , the JCStaff studio was responsible for the animation , while Toei Animation was again responsible for distribution . As with its predecessors, the ending song Raging Waves was sung by Megumi Hayashibara again . Takayuki Hattori was again responsible for the soundtrack .

action

Lina Inverse and Naga are eating when a dragon attacks the city. The dragon can finally be driven away and Lina seeks Lord Calvert. There she learns that it is his daughter Marlene who is sending the dragons because he does not want to increase her pocket money. While Lina now joins Lord Calvert, Naga prefers to join Princess Marlene. A fight ensues in which Lina can defeat both Naga and Marlene.

After Marlene is defeated, a third party emerges in the form of former Minister Gaizunor, who was a dragon transformed into human. In the fight that now follows, Lina and Naga can defeat the dragon with common forces and thus restore peace.

In Germany, the film was released on DVD on April 25, 2005 by OVA Films . The film was released in English on February 17, 2004 by ADV Films . In New Zealand and Australia , Madman Entertainment Pty. Ltd. distribution.
