Aciel Martinez Pol (born August 10, 1990 in Camagüey , Cuba ) is a German-Cuban actor and musical artist .

Life

Aciel Martinez Pol grew up in his native Camagüey, Cuba. In 2001 his mother came to Germany with him. He took piano and violin lessons.

From 2007 to 2010 he attended the Theater Akademie Stuttgart . There he obtained a diploma as an actor and theater pedagogue. In the following two years he attended the Hamburg School of Entertainment. In 2012 he switched to the Freiburg musical and drama school, where he completed his training as a musical actor.

In 2009 he made his debut in the leading role of Harry in the musical Caution Flame in the Rotebühltheater Stuttgart. In 2011 he celebrated success with the musical Spamelot . In 2014 he played Seaweed in the musical Hairspray alongside Anouschka Renzi at the Alzenauer Burgfestspiele . He played the conferenciere and Miss Schneider in the musical Cabaret . At the beginning of January 2016, he premiered in the Atze Music Theater in the play Die Ministerpräsidentin . Since then he has appeared in Emil and the Detectives as Gustav, among others.

He played his first film role in 2010 in the short film Sunglasses at night by Konrad Simon. This was followed by another short film, commercials and in 2015 the feature film Bunker of the dead . In the television series Spotlight of the station Nick Germany , he can be seen in over 80 episodes since 2016 as Gus. In 2017 he interpreted Edgar in the feature film Figaros Wolves .
