Acta Academiae Theodoro-Palatinae ( Historia et commentationes academiae electoralis scientiarum et elegantiorum literarum Theodoro-Palatinae ) is the title of the first scientific journal in the Palatinate .

The publisher was the Electoral Palatinate Academy of Sciences founded by Elector Karl Theodor . Between 1766 and 1794, eleven volumes were published in Mannheim under the direction of Andreas Lamey (1726–1802) . The contributions of well-known Palatinate scientists of the time in Latin, French and German deal with historical and natural history topics. From the third volume onwards, the Historica and Physica subseries appeared separately. Another five volumes of the Historica and another four volumes of the Physica were published. Johann Jakob Hemmer and Friedrich Casimir Medicus made numerous contributions . With the First Coalition War , the work of the Palatinate Academy of Sciences and with it the magazine came to a standstill.
