Acta Physica Polonica

Acta Physica Polonica is a Polish peer-reviewed physics journal published by the Polish Physical Society since 1932 (before that there were reports from the Society founded in 1920).

In 1970 they were split into two sub-series A (general physics, atomic and molecular physics, solid state physics / condensed matter physics, biophysics, applied physics, optics and quantum electronics) and B (mathematical physics, particle physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, relativity, statistical physics). They have had various editors since 1995: Series A is published by the Institute of Physics and the Polish Academy of Sciences, Series B by the Jagiellonian University and the Polska Akademia Umiejętności in Krakow. From 2008, there will also be a series of proceedings supplements for conference reports for series B.
