description

The four-storey apartment building on Adalbertstrasse was built in 1884 for Marie Sautner by the construction engineer Jakob Freundorfer. The facade in the neo-renaissance style is structured by house stones. The shop on the ground floor was installed in 1896. The entrance to the five-axis building is in the middle. A decorative balcony over the portal emphasizes the symmetry. A double landing staircase gives access to two apartments on each floor. A toothed frieze has been preserved above the architrave of the windows on the third floor, and above it a cornice with inserted consoles .
