Adam Bandt (born March 11, 1972 in Adelaide ) is an Australian politician and has been Deputy Chairman of the Australian Greens since 2012 . In 2010, Bandt won the Melbourne constituency for the Australian House of Representatives , becoming the first representative of the Greens in the House of Commons. In the 2013 general election in Australia , he was re-elected with 55% of the vote.
