Adam Hložek (born July 25, 2002 in Ivančice ) is a Czech football player who is currently under contract with the first division club Sparta Prague . The striker has been a Czech international since June 2019 .
Career
society
In 2014, Hložek moved from his hometown club FC Ivančice to the youth academy of the renowned capital city club Sparta Prague . On November 10, 2018 he made his debut in the top Czech division when he came on as a substitute for Matěj Pulkrab in the 3-1 away win against MFK Karviná in the closing stages . At 16 years, 3 months and 16 days he became the youngest player to ever wear the Sparta jersey. He scored his first goal on March 9, 2019 in a 4-0 home win against Viktoria Pilsen . This season 2018/19 he scored three goals in 19 appearances.
National team
Adam Hložek has so far represented his home country in various junior national teams. For the U15 he scored four times in five appearances. From July 2017 to February 2018 he was then in action for the U16 and scored seven goals in ten games. On August 3, 2018, he made his debut for the U-17 national team in a 7-1 win against Wales and scored twice on the debut.
On July 6, 2019, he made his debut in a 1-0 friendly win against Russia in the U21s .
