Adam Pichler
Adam Pichler (born December 18, 1907 in Hallein , † July 6, 1988 in Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and businessman. From 1961 to 1971 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .
After five classes of elementary school, Pichler switched to a community school for three classes and then completed an agricultural school and a commercial vocational school. He learned the trade of a businessman and started his own business in 1950. Politically, Pichler was active as mayor of Saalfelden from 1949, and from 1955 he was also the district chairman of the SPÖ Pinzgau . He represented the SPÖ from January 30, 1961 to November 4, 1971 in the National Council.
