Adamantios Diamantopoulos

Adamantios Diamantopoulos (born August 4, 1958 in Athens ) is a British-Greek scientist in the field of business administration . Since February 2004 he has been working as a university professor at the Chair of International Marketing at the University of Vienna .

Life

Diamantopoulos earned a BA and an MSc from Heriot-Watt University in 1983 ; In 1989 he earned a PhD in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde .

He has published in well-known journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research , the Journal of International Business Studies and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science . Diamantopoulos made a name for himself through methodical contributions to the measurement of constructs , referring to both reflexive measurement and formative measurement.

In the Handelsblatt Betriebswirte Ranking 2009, which analyzes the research performance of 2,100 business economists in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland based on the quality of publications since 2005, it came in third.
