Höngesberg is a hamlet that belongs to the town of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Höngesberg is located in the middle of the municipality of Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Wahlscheid in the north, Stolzenbach and Hausen in the north-east, Peisel in the east, Röttgen and Kreuznaaf in the south-east, Reelsiefen in the south-west, Scheiderhöhe in the west, Hammerschbüchel and Hitzhof in the north-west.

A nameless orographically right tributary of the Agger flows northeast through Höngesberg. The Agger flows in the east along Höngesberg.

In the north and north-east, Höngesberg is surrounded by forest areas, in the south-east, south and west, meadow areas that are used for agriculture dominate. In the east of Höngesberg there is a campsite on the Agger.
