Bloch is a hamlet that belongs to the town of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Bloch is located in the northeast of the urban area of ​​Lohmar. Surrounding towns and hamlets are Mailahn and Höffen in the northwest, Büchel , Naaf and Naafmühle in the northeast, Rippert and Rengert in the southeast, Hausdorp in the southwest and Weeg in the west.

A nameless orographically right tributary of the Naafbach rises northwest of Bloch . The Naafbach itself flows southeast of Bloch.

history

In 1885 Bloch had 25 residents who lived in seven houses.

According to an address book from 1901, the town of Bloch had three farm workers , a bricklayer and a carpenter .

Until 1969 Bloch belonged to the previously independent municipality Wahlscheid .
