Kleinhecken is located in the north-west of Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Schnellhaus in the north, Broich and Wickuhl in the northeast, Schiefelbusch in the east, Dachskuhl and Neuenhof in the southeast, Gammersbach in the south, Schönrath Castle , Rodderhof , Oberschönrath and Knipscherhof in the southwest, Fußheide and Großenhecken in the west, Grossenhecken in the northwest.

Waters

The Kupfersiefer Bach, an orographically left tributary of the Sülz, flows northwest of Kleinhecken . In the north-east and south of Kleinhecken, two source rivers arise from a nameless orographically right tributary of the Gammersbach.
