Katharinenbach

Katharinenbach is a residential area that belongs to the town of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

geography

Katharinenbach is located in the northeast of the city of Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Schönenberg in the north and northeast, Klefhaus in the east, Höffen , Hohn and Kattwinkel in the southeast, Münchhof in the south, Emmersbach and Wahlscheid in the southwest, Wahlscheid in the west and northwest.

The Katharinenbach, an orographically right tributary of the Hohner Bach, rises to the northwest of the village of Katharinenbach . The Klefhauser Bach flows southeast of Katharinenbach, a right tributary of the Hohner Bach. The Hohner Bach, a left tributary of the Agger, flows south of Katharinenbach .

In 1885 Katharinenbach had eight residents who lived in a single house.

Until 1969, Katharinenbach belonged to the previously independent municipality of Wahlscheid .
