The Hohner Bach is a 2.1 km long orographically left tributary of the Agger in Lohmar near Wahlscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
geography
The Hohner Bach has two source rivers that flow together in the hamlet of Hohn . One source river comes from Kattwinkel near Höffen , the other source river comes from the direction of Mailahn / Weeg .
Towards the sources, the Hohner Bach cut deeply into the rock, towards Hohn the banks flatten. After the large waterfall below Hohns, the banks are very steep again, and the stream begins to meander strongly. From the street Katharinenbach the banks have become flatter again, the meandering weakens more and more. Shortly before Münchhofer Straße, the Hohner Bach flows past the old mill pond, into which it once flowed, but which has now silted up. From there, the Hohner Bach flows along Münchhofer Straße, strongly straightened by humans, then flows below Wahlscheider Straße until it comes to the surface again on the old railway embankment. After crossing under the federal highway 484 , the Hohner Bach flows into the Agger near Schiffarth .
