Klefhaus (Lohmar)

Klefhaus is a hamlet in Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

geography

Klefhaus is in the northeast of Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Schönenberg in the northwest, Neuhonrath in the north, Grünenborn , Oberstesiefen and Saal in the northeast, Heide and Höffen in the east, Mailahn and Kattwinkel in the south, Hohn and Münchhof in the southwest, Emmersbach and Katharinenbach in the west.

Waters

Along the Klefhauser Straße flows a receiving water from the Nurschsiefen, which flows into the Maarbach as an orographically left tributary. The Klefhäuser Bach, an orographically right tributary of the Hohner Bach, rises in Klefhaus itself .

landscape

From Klefhaus you can see the Aggertal at and around Wahlscheid . The other side of the mountain to the Aggertal offers on clear days the view z. B. on Honrath . Klefhaus is surrounded by agricultural land as well as larger forest areas, especially along the streams.

Before the municipal reorganization, Klefhaus belonged to the non-official municipality of Wahlscheid.
