Schiefelbusch

Schiefelbusch is a hamlet in Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

Schiefelbusch is mentioned for the first time in a document dated August 24, 1330. According to the list of localities from 1858, 17 residents lived on the Schiefelbusch farm. A census in 1871 showed 14 residents in one house. In 1875 19 people lived in two houses in Schiefelbusch.

geography

Schiefelbusch is located in the northwest of Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Broich and Wickuhl in the north, Meinenbroich , Stumpf and Weilerhohn in the northeast, Höhnchen in the east, Scheid in the southeast, Neuenhof and Dachskuhl in the south, small hedges and large hedges in the west.

Waters

A nameless orographically right tributary of the Gammersbach rises to the northwest of Schiefelbusch. In the east, the Gammersbach, an orographic left tributary of the Sülz , flows past Schiefelbusch.
