Eichen was a hamlet in the parish of Lohmar . Today, Eichen is part of the small village of Weegen , which belongs to the town of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The historic hamlet of Eichen corresponds roughly to the location of today's street name Eichen and is located in the southwest of Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Donrath in the north-west and north, Weegen surrounds oak from south to north-west, Halberg is in the more distant north-east.
The Hasselsiefen, an orographically left tributary of the Agger, rises to the northwest of Eichen .
Oak is surrounded by large areas of meadows, and there is forest to the northwest. There are also large forest areas in a south-easterly to southerly direction, which are cut through by county road 37 and federal road 507. The Jabach, an orographically left tributary of the Agger, runs almost parallel along the B 507.
