Alfenhard is a residential area that belongs to the town of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Alfenhard is located in the east of the urban area of Lohmar. Surrounding villages are Höfferhof in the north, Weeg , Hausdorp , Naafmühle and Bloch in the northeast, Rengert (to Neunkirchen-Seelscheid ) in the east, Grimberg in the south, Naaferberg and Röttgen in the southwest, Hausen in the west and northwest and Jüchen in the northwest.

The Naafbach , an orographically left tributary of the Agger, flows south of Alfenhard .

In 1885 Alfenhard had six residents who lived in one house.

Until 1969, Alfenhard belonged to the previously independent municipality of Wahlscheid .
