Oberstehöhe is a district of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Oberstehöhe is in the northeast of Lohmar. Surrounding hamlets and villages are Holl , Kern and Hähngen in the north, Kuckenbach , Neuheim , Saal , Ingersauel , Oberstesiefen and Unterstesiefen in the east to the southeast, Heide (near Höffen) in the south, Höffen in the southwest and Grünenborn and Neuhonrath in the west to northwest.

A nameless stream rises in two source rivers northwest of Oberstehöhe. It flows into the Agger from the orographic left bank .

Until August 1, 1969, the place belonged to the previously independent municipality Wahlscheid .

The residents of Oberstehöhe traditionally take part in the fair parade of the Wahlscheider fair.

Upper level is on the district roads 34 and 16.
The place is close to the train station Lohmar- Honrath at Jexmühle .
The buses rarely run on the route. The shared call taxi (AST) therefore complements local public transport . Oberstehöhe belongs to the tariff area of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS).
