Juchen is a hamlet in Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

geography

Juchen is in the north of Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Mackenbach in the north, Dorpmühle in the northeast, Hausdorp and Höfferhof in the east, Hausen in the south and Stolzenbach in the west.

Waters

The Stolzenbach rises south of Jüchen , an orographically left tributary of the Agger .

landscape

Jüchen is on the orographic left side of the mountain to the Aggertal. Except in the northeast, where there are agricultural meadows, Jüchen is completely surrounded by forest. The path from Stolzenbach to Jüchen goes steeply upwards, to the north the deeply cut valley of the Atzenbach can be seen.
