Dorpmühle is a watermill and a residential area that belongs to the town of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Dorpmühle is located in the east of the urban area of ​​Lohmar. Surrounding villages and hamlets are Münchhof in the north, Mailahn , Kattwinkel and Weeg in the northeast, Bloch in the east, Hausdorp and Höfferhof in the southeast, Hausen in the south, Jüchen and Stolzenbach in the southwest and Mackenbach and Grube Pilot in the northwest.

The Atzenbach, an orographically left tributary of the Agger , flows through Dorpmühle.

history

In 1885 Dorpmühle had 10 residents who lived in a single house. The village was then also called Atzenbach.

Until 1969 Dorpmühle belonged to the previously independent municipality of Wahlscheid .
